The G+ web UI gets worse and worse. I have to refresh it every 10 posts to see older posts. When finished reading, my phone shows there are even older posts I missed.
Unless it is something very interesting to me, I don't bother using the G+ app on my phone/tablet. If there is multiple new posts in a group, it shows me the entire group, while previously, it only showed the new posts. It is getting that you need to jump though too many hoops to get to the new stuff. :-(
Christian Conrad On the app (or is it via a web browser), you can tell it to show you the "most recent" or "most popular" (the default, I believe).
Found it (via a web browser): * Go to the groups' homepage, * Click on the triple dots * Preference * change the "Sort by top posts or most recent" option
Edit: It is done group by group :( I don't know of a global setting.
Thanks, Nicholas Ring, but it feels less than probable that a) I would have clicked "most popular" in every group I follow (and what about people, or have circles and following individuals been removed from under our feet already without me noticing?) without noticing, and b) That everyone and everything I follow should have written hugely popular posts up until ~ten weeks ago, then only totally unpopular stuff until ten hours ago, then popular again. Especially since it's a sliding window: Those less-than-ten-hours-old posts that were popular enough to show yesterday, have over night become so unpopular that they're gone from my stream today?
The G+ UI has been wonky for most of us lately. My Android App almost without exception requires a second refresh to pick up new posts. The web UI - F5 FTW.
Stupid question but did you refresh your page ? I'm using Chrome and need to do this from time to time.FWIW I do see all comments.

ReplyDeletenow with new sujects it works...but it's not the first time that the problem occurs...BTW I don't like this new interface
ReplyDeleteWhat integration? I keep getting emails on every notification. AFAIK you can't enable push notifications only
ReplyDeleteI see. I got those emails too. Really annoying. Honestly, Google must hate g+ or us users

ReplyDeleteThe Android app has taken to showing me a few tens of posts from the last day or two, then everything below that says "10w" or "11w", etc.
