    They're also giving up on Unity and switching back to Gnome! arstechnica.com - Ubuntu Unity is dead: Desktop will switch back to GNOME next year

    In my limited experience, the Mint desktop has clearly noticeable better performance than the official Ubuntu desktop.

    I love Linux Mint. Aesthetic and functional. Way better than plain Ubuntu but with all the Ubuntu low level stuff built in as its based on Ubuntu, so best of both worlds
