I cannot for the life of me get 10.2 installed on my laptop. It always gets this error right after you select all the platforms. Anybody encountered this?

Hi Nick, I don't have that directory. I also uninstalled every other version of Rad studio I had on the machine. Still no dice. It dies right after I launch Delphi and after I select all the platforms, then it asks to Agree all for the EULA. Then it starts to download stuff. I suspect it's the Getit Package manager.

ReplyDeletePhillip Woon I encountered this issue and solved it after several attempts. I did have prior installations of 19.0 and the uninstall did not clean out everything. I found left over things in Program Files, Public Documents, and in the registry.
ReplyDeleteI ended up removing every trace of 19.0 in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\19.0
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Embarcadero\Studio\19.0
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Embarcadero\BDS\19.0
If you remove all the left over items (only 19.0 !) you should be good to go.
(I also needed to make sure that I installed for the actual license I have. This was the most difficult, because the installer insisted to pick up the wrong one by default, which I think got me into trouble in the first place, and produced additional left over items.)
