Still can't get Rad Studio 10.2 to install on my laptop. It'll install now, but then it can't load several BPLs and then it crashes before the IDE gets loaded. I'll probably go back to 10.1 for now after trying one more time.

This laptop is a Lenovo z70-80 with 12GB memory and 800 gb space available. It's a Core I7 machine. It ran Berlin fine. It could still be a corrupt ISO.

  1. I downloaded it again and the MD5 hash checked out. And yet it still gives me the error when I run it that it can't load the DB bpls. dclDBxxx.bpl etc, and then it crashes. Do I need to also load the BDE?

  2. mm, I wonder if it's the memory? Yet it loaded and ran Berlin just fine, and Visual Studio .

  3. What error does it give exactly?

Is there anything different about the location of those BPLs (can you access them? Are the folder and file permissions identical to working BPLs? Can you load one in Dependency Viewer? etc.)

I'd suggest contacting Support - this is very strange behaviour.
