Do you - being a Delphi developer - think it would be good if HGGC would sell IDERA to SAP?

  1. Roland Kossow - I don't think you are a SAP advocate - and if you were, that would not be a problem.

It could be a problem if a "sinking ship" is taking over Idera/RAD Studio, but - it is a problem way out of our control, and not relevant for this community, as we deal with Delphi programming issues, not corporate policy or politics.

I'm a corporate dev, and price is not a major concern, but when features such as the Linux compiler is not available for the lower SKUs, alarm bells start to go off.

In general, I am getting bad Inprise vibes from Idera as they seem more interested in pushing products "for the enterprise" and are not doing enough for the development tool itself and the grass root developers.
