All new Mac OS apps submitted to the app store must have 64 bit support from January 2018.
So make sure you finish and submit your new OS X app before January as Delphi will not support 64 bit on OS X until later 2018 (according to latest road map).

    Jus tot note, these are only new apps, existing apps have a longer transition period.

    Yes, existing apps can be updated until June 2018. Hopefull Delphi will be ready to support OS X 64 bit by then.

    Not only the AppStore close its doors. The macOS too:

    > macOS High Sierra will be the last macOS release
    > to support 32-bit apps without compromise.

    I'd say High Sierra is a bigger concern than either of the Mac App Store deadlines

    David Nottage We just tried our FMX app in High Sierra and it seems to work fine so far. Did you have any problems with High Sierra?

    Hans Lavdal Jakobsen The Apple announcement is for macOS > "High Sierra". The Release date of macOS Sierra was Sept. 2016, "High Sierra" maybe Sept 2017. Then we can expect the problem macOS in Sept. 2018.
