    FireDAC was tested against the FireBird 3 alpha quite a long time ago, and it works bar some minor issues. I checked internally and full support, including a note on this doc page ;) should be there in 10.2.1.

    FB 3.0.x is largely FB 2.5 compatible, it seems.

    Yes, compatibility for FB 3.0 client lib to an FB 2.5 server is actually pretty impressive. Keeping all the new wire and security functionality in mind. Awesome!
