  1. Eugene Kryukov I just received the email notification and link for the update. I am very impressed that you address these issues with such promptness. You have done a very good job, I will note this as I promote your products to others, and I thank you for your consideration of my suggestions and opinions. GREAT WORK

  2. Joe C. Hecht I feel two of your criticisms are a bit unjustified. When you purchase a product at XYZ price the value you receive is that you received it at that time. You will never get the time back. If the price drops in the future the person who buys it at a discounted price won't get the time back that they missed out on not owning the product. If someone buys a couch on a weekend sale are they justified in being mad when the couch is cheaper later on a holiday sale? As far as plugins collecting usage data Windows 10, Android, and iOS all collect similar data and there is no way to really turn it off. Not to mention practically all mobile apps do this as well as well as phone home DRM systems. For us old schoolers that is quite annoying but the world has moved on. Both of the same criticisms have been leveled I feel unjustly at Embarcadero in the past as well.

  3. Eli M I shared opinion, valued or otherwise. and came away feeling it was indeed valued.

On pricing, those are my feelings, and my feelings are not open for judgement (where is opinion is).

I do understand "sale pricing" as well, I do not need a lesson.

I am reminded that outside of circumstance and market demand, sale pricing often devalues the worth of the goods.

I like paying a fair (and reasonably sound) price.

RAD Studio has a "sale of the day", sometimes 52% off, sometimes 32%, sometimes whatever way the wind is blowing.

Whatever it is, I feel like it is not a sound price, and (feel) that the value represented in is perhaps just as unsound.
