for my company is started a research to make it easier to develop Delphi code in RAD Studio. I am currently trying to define the problems Delphi developers encounter while coding in RAD Studio. I have created a google questionnaire and it would mean much to me of you want to answer some questions about this.

Engineering and construction techniques, like the application of patterns and well-defined architectures. Agile methodologies to allow big teams work like a unity.
ReplyDeleteExternal tools, like ER Designers, UML Designers or Code analyzers. Allows us a good communication, fixation of the acknowledge and guarantees the future of the projects.
Version Control Systems and "Configuration Management" as the most important part big projects.
New programming techniques like OOP, "Automated Unit Testing", etc.
Very modern IDEs.
Really I think that programming has as very important progress in the last 30, 40 or 50 years, but...
the base continues been the SOURCE CODE, like the skyscrapers, that continue been constructed with BRICKS. (or little blocks of concrete and iron)
