  4. VS has a long way to fall before it's as unstable as delphi. That said, they are working on it ;) VS 15.3 is full of new bugs!

  5. If VS is full of bugs, we should use C++ Builder then ;)

  6. When was the last time you wrote some C# code and the compiler crashed or did produce defect code?

At least MS can ship updates that don't require a complete reinstall!

  7. That's true. The IDE is buggy, but I have never had a compiler problem (until 15.3 - devenv /rebuild does nothing!). Certainly never seen an internal compiler error, which is something I see every day with Delphi.

  8. I used VS2010 and VS2012 daily for several years, working on a medium size C++ application (~300kloc, 5-6 projects in solution) but with several heavy dependencies like Boost and Qt. Maybe the IDE crashed a couple of times, but if it did I can't remember it.

Certainly far less than Delphi crashes.

  9. I work with VS 2015 a lot and I would say it crashes way less than Delphi 10.1. What annoying is in Delphi intellesence stops working for no reason on certain day which I haven't seen in VS as of now
