Thank You Andreas Hausladen for Idefixpack 10.2,
I was able to install it in 10.2 Update 1.
Only three Messageboxes with warnings on starting delphi:
Not all Compiler Speed Pack x86 patches were applied. Failed patches:
failed : Compiler optimizations (UnitFreeAll) [Compiler.UnitFreeAll]
Rest is working good and now my IDE is fast again reacts super fast!

hm. I still get one error. "Replace compiler code with faster X86 functions [Compiler64.X86]" but apart from that all seems to work fine.
ReplyDeletesteve hughes You are using the IDE Fix Pack Beta 6.0 version with the experimental Win64 compiler optimizations ;-)
ReplyDeleteI too tried this out and am getting the same messages but the reason I installed it was to see if it helped with an issue I had in Tokyo and to my delight it did. I have a project group with about 8 projects in it and moving from one project to the other froze the ide. It did come back in the end but made it impossible to work with until I installed the ide fix pack. So thank you Andreas, not sure what will happen in the future though.
