FixInsight updates

FixInsight updates

Anyone know if FixInsight is still under development? Forum looks abandoned and issues are not fixed

Comments

  1. Michael Thuma yes TMS forum, is there other way to request support? (Submitting direct support requests also does not work)

  2. It is still under development :)
New release is coming in November.
Are you interested in some specific updates?

  3. Roman Yankovsky yes, the issues that are in forum, specifically about windows message procedures and excluding certain files/folders. I'll add some more requests there to keep it in one place

  4. Eugene Kotlyarov Roman Yankovsky The files/folders exclusion thing is the only thing preventing me from purchasing, at the moment

  5. David Nottage this is implemented in the upcoming release :)

  6. Roman Yankovsky, I'm interested in a new feature that will allow me to right click an FixInsight message view output item, and select 'ignore this'. For example, wit just one click to add //FI:W501 to an empty 'try...except' block.

  7. That's good to hear Roman Yankovsky I asked in the TMS forum, but got no reply.
How about the improvement in nested with detection?
    People now replace
    "With a do .. with b do"
    By "with a,b do"
This should be caught by Fixinsight.

  8. Lübbe Onken it's in work now. Sorry for not replying in forum. But I'm getting all this messages to email and read everything.

Starting from this Autumn I have a guy who help me in development. Not fulltime, but he is doing good job. So development will go even if I'm busy (that was the main problem). This will be the first release when he is involved. I'm going to return to shorter release cicle, to publish updates every one or two month. This worked very well in the past.
