Ok, I'm proceeding as I write this. But anyone know how to easily put 121 edit boxes on a scrollbox easily (At design time -- I could do it at runtime, but I'm choosing to do it at design time)? (I'm doing it, but it's painful)

  1. Phillip Woon I do hope you created your five edits in a row first and then copy-pasted. For me that tends to be the quickest way to lay out a large number of controls. Once you copy the first row, ctrl+v and then ctrl + arrows allows very quick placement most of the time.

If you are going to name the controls as well, either creating them using one of the methods suggested above can work well, or I find that clicking the first control, then the name property, then the control and typing the name then pressing return and using the arrow keys you can quickly navigate each control and change just the name property. There may be a shortcut to this, but this is the way I found to do it most effectively.

  2. Phillip Woon I didn't say just the dfm though did I. This sort of task is why it pays to know a scripting language like Python.

  3. I used to remember it used to ask about adding it to the dfm. It didn't this time. I know. I could add it to the pas along with the dfm. But I did it.
