Hello, need a little help again - I am again not sure where does this appear-when-mouse-hover-scrollbar hint window come from - is it built into the IDE or any other 3rd party plugin I forgot? The bottom line is, how to disable it? Thanks.

I don't believe it is normal IDE behavior. What plug-ins do you have installed?
ReplyDeleteLooks like Parnassus Navigator from David Millington
ReplyDeleteAchim Kalwa I don't have Parnassus Navigator, check my installed experts list attached.
ReplyDelete10c on CnWizards.
ReplyDeleteHold down the shift key (or is it the control key?) while the IDE is loading and you will be able to enable/disable any CnWizards add-ons.
I don't have it with these extensions in XE8:

ReplyDeleteIt's not Navigator, because Navigator shows a minimap and the preview is syntax highlighted and all up significantly better ;)
ReplyDeleteparnassus.co - Navigator - Delphi Plugin - Parnassus OÜ
Thanks Jacek Laskowski! Great! It's a feature by CnWiard.
ReplyDeleteEdwin Yip I don't think its standard. Do you have David Millington's navigator installed, I seem to remember that that might do it? Liking the clWindow = Light Green.
ReplyDeleteWho do I collect my 10c from? :D
ReplyDeleteDavid Hoyle It's a feature provided by cnWizards, Jacek nailed it down. Sure you do, look at all those screenshots you posted for your IDE plugins ;) BTW, if you configure the font colors so that they go more well with the light green background, it must be more aesthetically attractive.
ReplyDeleteNicholas Ring :D
ReplyDeleteEdwin Yip it’s easier on the eyes
ReplyDeleteDavid Hoyle that's very true. on the other hand, I find dark color themes hurt my eyes to a level I cannot bear.
