TCriticalSection under iOS, Android and Linux use TMonitor.
Is TMonitor safe and efficient on theses platforms ?
Is there a more native implementations ?

    It is because PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE is being set.

    You are right. Have you somes personals feedbacks in use of Tmutex as alternative to TCriticalSection on POSIX platforms?
