Just a comment on what Craig says around 50:00: NO!
ReplyDeleteIf you ever do language improvements, then do them for something useful and not for something like that (except if you solve that with partial classes because that is how I would do it, if I would).
The benefit of tests and how they often force code design is not only only to make sure that things run properly now but also that they run properly in the future and imo a good side effect of writing testable code is that this code also improves its maintainability.
Another comment on what David shows around 51:00: Please add a checkbox to turn off error insight until you actually fix it for good!
