    Lars Kruger Thanks it is good to know about TfastIniFile. My problem is that I use JVCL's JvAppIniStorage, which relies on TMemIniFile. Off topic, JvAppStorage is a great component. It allows you to stream TPersistent, TCollection, custom streaming of any object, fine control of streaming, multiple backends, great design. Absolute gem.
