    I wonder if the problem is with ARC on linux. i,ei I have used the same code that I use for OSX ...which I do not have a memory leak with ..but that is not ARC. I am not used to having to deal with ARC..any hints on what I need to look for? :)

    also for linux, strings are zero based...I wonder if that is where my memory leak might be,. i.e my code is assuming strings are 1 based like normal pascal
