Have any of you tried to make a mirror of the Jedi VCS to a git repository?

It seems that https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/git-cvsimport.html can connect, but it does not work...

  1. Jedi VCS and CVS are different technologies, with no relation between them. JediVCS is long abandoned, so I wonder if there exist at least any single other VCS that can import from it. Start your search from that point, start to find if there is yet something more or less standard that JediVCS can be exported to.

  2. I’ve been migrating my Jedi vcs repositories to git using a custom Delphi app I wrote using FireDac. I need to write a blog about how it works so others can get the benefit. The code is on github if this interests you.

  3. Maybe u can submit the code to JediVCS project itself, to be their last farewell

  5. at the first look, apparently it is not yet mapping JEDI users to Git users

  6. Sorry, it is not intended for that. It will extract from the JEDI VCS all files in chronological order for a project pattern and add then to a new Git repository. I am the only one working on these repositories so user mapping’s have not been implemented. The reason for releasing the code and eventually blogging about it is so others can either use the code as is or modify it for their use.
