Just a little promotion of Delphi. My son is getting into music and I got him a copy of FL Studio Pro which is written in Delphi. Awesome tool

I hear there is a beta of it on the Mac. Does anyone know if the Mac version is also in Delphi? (with FMX?)

  1. Ronald Klitsche Inlined assembler instructions as `asm end` blocks - you can link .o files without any problem, of course

  3. Embarcadero are still making untrue statements on their website about Mac development. They say here

    https://www.embarcadero.com/products/delphi/features/mac-os

that apps can be distributed on the app store. Thar used to be true but is not true any more. They can't be distributed via app store because they don't have a 64 bit Mac compiler and that's a requirement these days.

Marco Cantu said, weeks ago, that this untrue statement would be corrected but that has not happened. One can only guess why not.

It will be interesting to see what a 64 bit Mac compiler would look like. Will it, like other new compilers, be LLVM based and use ARC? That would make porting apps to 64 bit a challenge.

embarcadero.com - With RAD Studio, you can develop Mac App Store applications without the effort of learning and use an additional IDE and programming language. See more.
