Is there a way to download all the forum posts in a browse-able format such as CHM, just in case? There was a so-called 'largest Delphi online forum in the world' around 2000 (which is in Chinese only), someone produce a downloadable CHM file each year and that used to be a very helpful documents for us. PS, that's delphibbs.com - Delphi大富翁论坛 and was back in life just around a month ago, without the old posts restored.
Edwin Yip Now that the forum is up again, NNTP (newsgroup support) also works. So you could use XenaNews (or any other newsgroup software) to download ALL messages for searching offline. It seems browsing online it only goes back to may 2014 but searching gives more. Via NNTP you could get all messages.
Edit: Okay, forget about NNTP. It still works but messages are far (and I mean really far) from complete. It's really unbelievable how this IT-company messed this up in this way. They can't even keep a forum-server online. They should have migrated the complete archive to a new server/software years ago.
Well, partially. They are read only (or at least should be)... with a few 100.000 spam messages removed.
