  3. Eden WU You cannot do that anymore. The C/S add on is not available anymore. To get FireDAC for remote databases you have to purchase an Enterprise or Architect edition.

  4. As I replied in the QP request, I don't think this is reasonable and within the scope of community edition. Building applications for an large corporation using, say Oracle, is out of scope. You can still build the app as a local app, against a local DB, to showcase to the corporation and make your sales pitch... but beyond that you need a real license.
    If you read Visual Studio community edition license, the scenario you mention is specifically forbidden (doing consulting work or selling to a corporation)

  5. Because in the CE place complete FIREDAC, will cause 3rd party's destruction, and will aggravate EMBT's financial burden.

    I think DBX's "interface" is the right one.

    Users can choose to have free EMBT Driver or 3rd party Driver. Now FIREDAC even the expansion of the deprivation (money can not buy), which in the CE is a big disadvantage.
