Hello!

Hello!

There is a rather obscure and old couple of routines in the RTL that let you save things such as fonts and brushes without the need for a variable.

Obviously, I can't remember what they're called.

Anyone remembers?

  1. If you are referring to the different TRecall descendants: you still need an instance for that.

  2. Uwe Raabe YES!!!! But you don't need to fiddle with brushes.

  3. There is indeed little documentation on TRecall and descendants and few people actually use it; I referenced one use in wiert.me - Delphi: using IInterface to restore cursor at end of mehod (prelude to a memento that executes any code at end of method). but used interfaces to implement my own restorer, linking to other people having done the same.
