My computer got "tidied" - removing the Java SDK, so now I cannot compile Delphi FMX programmes.

Which version of java sdk / ddk / whatever do I need to find and instal to get it working again please?

    That's the Office 2000 components for C++ (there are several sets for different versions of Office.) If you don't want Office interop, eg manipulating Word/Excel via COM, you don't need the package.

    As for why the error - odd, the file should be present!

    That file IS there, but it has stopped asking me so I will continue in a state of blissful ignore . . . until next time! Thanks.

    Dave Nottage found a fix for the huge error message: remove google-play-services.dex.jar from the libraries node under android platform. Don't ask me why, but it has cured all the problems and I can now write android programmes again! Yay!
