If I were to choose the best program MS ever written, I'd choose MS Paint. Not Paint 3D or else, the original MS Paint as in Windows 7.

If you need to draw a raster picture with several shapes, arrows, captions, etc, MS Paint is perfect. There is nothing even close to MS Paint in the Linux world, only buggy and low-functional software claiming itself MS Paint clones or replacements. I understand now why some recommend to use GIMP for drawing on Linux, though GIMP is a heavyweight not designed for easy drawing.

For fast stuff i use Axialis icon. It's ok. But what to use for svg if Photoshop is to much/expensive?
ReplyDeleteDany Marmur InkScape is made especially for SVG and free, but can get slow for more complex drawings. Affinity Designer can also import and export SVG.
