  1. I personally went for MeWe. Good privacy, good features, and I also set up a group for us there.

However, the Delphi Developers community will get an entirely new home, and if the schedule holds, it will be announced on Friday. It is tailored to our specific needs by capable and experienced hands ;)

When I searched on the web I never found references to plus.google.com neither.

Maybe google exclude these entries from the results?

But these are specific searches inside plus.google.com

You can do the same inside MeWe.

Maybe more specific even, and you don't need special knowledge about how to do the query.

  4. Jeroen Wiert Pluimers MeWe are adding "public" posts in November. It is still not clear if these will be indexable by search engines.

  7. Ugochukwu Mmaduekwe It won't be suitable for personal publishing in G+ style, though.

  8. Lars Fosdal Maybe it is a stupid question... But what is MeWe?

mewe.com - MeWe: The best chat & group app with privacy you trust. is a web forum place in which Lars Fosdal created, what can be a substitute of this Google+ forum when, the next 1st August, Google+ itself disappear.

At this moment, about 256 people of this forum have an account in mewe.com, and we are waiting for you.

  10. Juan C. Cilleruelo actually I did find back Delphi related stuff returning G+ links with a normal Google search a while ago.

Search engines currently cannot do that on MeWe, hopefully that changes in the future.

Anyway, some people can think that this is not and disadvantage but a good characteristic!

Every day more, people want to control how the information generated from his knowledge is managed by the multinationals.

Knowing that the data in Mewe is not reachable by Google can be an advantage.

Note: I don't want to discuss this point. I only exposed the facts.

We can create a poll about this point. Don't you think?

  12. Juan C. Cilleruelo I see it both as an advantage and disadvantage depending on usage.

The reason I mentioned is informational: it is important to know what a future target can and cannot do.

That's why following the various G+ migration/future groups is important: hopefully there it will become clear what possibilities are there (also for data migration) and what heir pros/cons are.
