I am currently working in Delphi XE 10 Seattle. While we are changing the appearance in the IDE from Default Windows theme to 'Turquoise Gray' everything seems to be fine except one. When we are right clicking on the DB grid, instead of showing the options it is showing options in Chinese language. Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

I just released a new version on Life32 with source code. https://github.com/JBontes/Life32   This version is built using XE7, but it should compile with anything above D7.  Feel free to play around with it. It's an app I wrote many moons ago, but I lost access when the HD containing the source crashed. I recently used Encase on a backup disc and managed to get most of the code back. Because I had a SVN (on the same disk)  I was able to reconstitute pretty much the full source and just needed to add a few tweaks to get it working in Win7.

I am having trouble uploading iOS binary to iTunes Connect for a client that has individual developer account and has granted me admin access to iTunes Connect. He generated distribution provisioning profile which I used to create signed ipa file but I cannot upload it because Xcode asks me for his AppleID credentials which, of course, I don't have. I can edit all information about app but cannot upload the binary. Questions: 1. Is there a way to upload signed ipa without his AppleID credentials? 2. If above is not possible, would it work if he upgrades his account to company and add me as team member (admin...) I am asking here and not on Delphi iOS & Android Developers community because this is not strictly Delphi related question.

Hi, I have a problem with Firemonkey effects on Delphi 10. I just want to apply a FMX effect to a Image.Bitmap and save result to a file. It seems that "ProcessEffect" dont works. Searching on the web I tried a SaveBitmapWithEffect routine for DX5 on Delphi 10 the result is the same: no effect applied to bitmap. Any idea?

Hi. How could I disable code folding for class completion? I prefer to have all parameters in a line than folded.

It often happens to me that the Delphi code editor loses focus (caused by something I haven't been able to figure out) and the cursor ends up either in the project manager or in the combobox for selecting the desktop. Is that some peculiarity of my installation(s) or a widely known problem? (It's not me touching the touchpad, in case you're wondering. There is no touchpad.)

Hello Everybody, in our old project in housing industry area we used CAD managing library VeCAD. At the moment our customer initializes refactor the application to get new 64bit version. Actually we analyze the market to select appropriate CAD library to use inside of 64bit VCL project. Requirements: 0. not dead project with good support 1. posibility to use inside of VCL 64 project 2. render CAD window to any windows control (for example TPanel) 3. good documentation of the component and API 4. support custom commands to draw complex cad objects like windows, doors and so on Have you any experience?

Just for the fun of it... today I received from somebody this question: "I need to generate a 2.4GHz signal to be transmitted and read the reflection of this same signal. Anyone have an example to get back the error message from Amazon S3? I am following the Youtube video 'Build App to Store Data in Amazon S3 with Delphi' but I have an error. I just do not know how to catch it so that I can see what the error is. I suspect it is a security issue. Alternatively, anyone have a simple demo/article on exactly what needs to be setup so that I can Upload an Object into a Bucket on Amazon S3?

Okay, I'll do my best asking this. We use Indy for all our TCP needs. We have a number of servers that use SSL/TLS. We recently moved everything to TLS v1.2. I've been tasked with allowing the graceful "downgrading" of TLS from 1.2 to 1.1 and/or 1.0 if the end user allows it. I've done this by including or excluding values in the TIdSSLOptions.SSLVersions property. My assumption (you know what that means....) has been that the values in that set are the SSL/TLS types that Indy will accept, and will reject attempts to connect at levels not found in that property. Am I right in my assumption? I ask this because it appears that I am not -- can can't seem to get a server to reject a TLS v1.0 request when sslvTLSv1 is not in the SSLVersions property. Am I making any sense? This is a new area for me, so any help would be gratefully accepted.
